What is Anna up to?

Imagine you are a family of five who are called to serve in Middle-of-Nowherestan. You are leading a team of translators to complete the New Testament in Nowherestanian. After a year of living there, your seven year old is struggling. He has trouble communicating, is falling behind in school, and has few friends.

From Student to Teacher

Life continues to be filled with lots of learning opportunities and fun projects. Philip has both participated in and led various trainings. One exciting area of training was welding. He sat with one of JAARS lead welders who taught him on a variety of metals, machines, and techniques.

Train away!

Hello friends and family! October was a very busy month for the Mulls. We were able to spend time with several friends and family members, including Philip’s parents for several days after Hurricane Milton did a number on Florida. We are thankful for the safety of our loved ones and for the unexpected quality time with them.

Happy Easter

Greetings, all! Happy Easter! We forgot to take family Easter pictures, but we enjoyed celebrating the greatest day in history with Anna’s family in Ocala. We have so much to be thankful for. Over the last month our families welcomed two new babies, one on Philip’s side and one on Anna’s, so our son will have built-in friends when he is born.

Prayers and Blessings

Happy March, friends! February was such a gift to us. We spent our Valentine’s Day eating Chick-Fil-A chicken nuggets and researching the Lenten season which began on the 14th. We decided to begin a family prayer book to record both our prayers and His answers to them. We are writing down requests and intercessions that we go over every morning, and these times of prayer have been so sweet and edifying.

Settling In!

We have finished our first month in Ocala and things have been busy! God has been good to us. We have connected and reconnected with several pastors and friends in the area, started volunteering with the youth group of one of our partner churches, and are helping to start a young married couples group with another church in the area.
